Monk (Diablo III)

The Monk is one of five playable character classes in Diablo III. He is a holy warrior who focuses on quick, precise, combination-based melee strikes to dispatch his foes while employing a variety of defensive abilities to keep himself - and possibly his allies - out of harm's way. It has been speculated that the Monk will possess skills reminiscent of the Diablo II Paladin's Auras.

"The man seemed ignorant of the cold. He was dressed like a beggar, wearing little more than an orange sheet wound around his body, leaving half of his chest exposed. A garland of large wooden beads hung around his thick neck. His head was completely shaved, with the exception of a wild bushy beard.
